Iran  10/06/2012

Sunday

Lord of the Nations, we pray for the nation of Iran. You have blessed it with great resources and influence. We pray that it would use both to bring peace to its people and its neighbours.

Monday

Pray that Iran would become an example of true religious tolerance and freedom for other countries in the region.

Tuesday

Thank God for Christians in Iran and pray that they would be built up spiritually, finding strength under persecution. Pray for courage, provision and perseverance.

Wednesday

Pray for converts from Islam who often risk not only social pressure and rejection by their families and communities, but are also increasingly facing pressure from the state.

Thursday

Lift to God all those Christians who remain in prison in Iran. Pray that their faith may be strengthened and they would be released without charge. Pray particularly for an end to extortionate bail demands to secure the temporary release of prisoners.

Friday

Remember again Pastor Nadarkhani and his family. Pray for comfort and peace, and that the Lord would provide for all their needs.

Saturday

Pray for peace in Iran both internally and with its neighbours. Pray for the destiny of that great nation that it would become a nation where each ethnic and faith group can live in peace with its neighbour.
