Faith focus: Reverend Yunusa Nmadu, CSW Nigeria 01/01/2012

Reverend Yunusa Nmadu is the Chief Executive of CSW Nigeria.. CSW Nigeria aims to help promote a peaceful and just society for all Nigerians and to encourage religious liberty through prayer, supporting those in need, and evidence-based advocacy. The organisation works in partnership with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) which represents most of the Christian denominations in the country.
Reverend Yunusa Nmadu and his wife Alice have personal experience of the religion-related violence that has ravaged parts of central and northern Nigeria since the year 2000. In April 2011, they experienced God’s provision and protection during the post-electoral turmoil, and have continually sought to support and serve communities that have been devastated by such violence.
On a recent visit to the CSW Nigeria team, we were delighted to see your cards and letters arriving. They are a great source of encouragement, particularly during turbulent times, and a reminder to them that they are not forgotten.
Please pray:
• For God’s wisdom and direction for Reverend Yunusa and the CSW Nigeria team as they seek to be a voice for the voiceless in Nigeria.
• That God would give clear vision for the development of CSW Nigeria, and that He would meet their financial needs.
• For the peace of Kaduna State, where the team is based.
• For strength, comfort and encouragement for Reverend Yunusa and his wife Alice, and that God would perfect His purposes and plans for them.
• That God would continue to use CSW Nigeria in mighty ways to support suffering Christians in Nigeria, particularly during turbulent times.
