After the sad news of the deaths of Shahbaz Bhatti, Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs, and Qamar David, a Christian blasphemy prisoner, we’re praying for a brighter future for
Pakistan’s religious minorities

SUNDAY

Lord, we mourn the loss of Shahbaz Bhatti, our friend and brother. We give You thanks for his life and work, and pray that his fight for justice and religious freedom would continue.

MONDAY

Pray for Shahbaz Bhatti’s family and close friends as they come to terms with their loss.

TUESDAY

Give thanks for the Shahbaz Bhatti’s lifelong commitment to religious freedom and his brave stand for truth.

WEDNESDAY

Ask God to raise up and protect righteous men and women to carry on this vital work.

THURSDAY

Ask God to comfort, encourage and strengthen Qamar David’s wife, Tabasam, and his children in their grief.

FRIDAY

Pray for all those accused of blasphemy asking God to strengthen and uphold them and
ensure that His justice is done in their lives. Pray also for the reform and repeal of Pakistan’s notorious blasphemy laws.

SATURDAY

Pray for God to protect minority communities at risk of attack and to change the hearts of all those who spread messages of hate and religious intolerance.
