EGYPT 05/06/2011
With just four months until Egypt’s parliamentary elections, Egypt is in desperate need of our prayers. Recent weeks have seen increasingly repressive tactics used by the military regime and an upsurge in attacks on religious minorities.
Pray for Egypt daily this week using the prayer below:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brothers and sisters in Egypt into Your precious care, knowing that You will be their fortress, comfort and shield in the face of violence and discrimination.
In this crucial time in the nation’s history, we ask that You would grant wisdom to those that govern Egypt, so that the nation’s religious minorities are able to practise their faith freely and without fear.
We pray Your kingdom come and Your will be done in Egypt, to the glory of Your name. Amen.
